Mongolian Folk band in Beijing


This is the Mongolian band that Sophie and I randomly saw in a nice little cafe in Beijing. Pretty amazing, especially considering that the didgeridoo sound is coming from one of the band members' mouth!

Wow!!! Maybe they are from Tuva! The Tuvan throat singers are famous! I saw a documentary once about Tuvan throat singing. And you can find a ton of info on the web! Not sure I'll buy the CD...but it's amazing!!

throat singing man, hope to hear that proper-like for myself one day.

Maybe the B boys could have a go at some...may need a few tins to help us on our way.
